Other Ways to Earn Parent Hours

Aside from participating on school committees, there are lots of other ways that you can accrue parent hours:

• Purchase Scrip from the front office - as part of your parent contract, you agreed to purchase a minimum of $50 in scrip per month.
• Volunteer in your child's classroom
• Donate school supplies such as paper, pencils, etc.
• Volunteering to work at special events such as crab feeds and sporting events
• Donate your services if you are an independent contractor (landscaping, construction, janitorial or facilities mantenance, web site development, graphic design, musicians, coaches, food services)
• Get family members to volunteer at school events
